amy allen misunderstood what I was talking about when she said "Nw burbs, I don't think the AP, Sun-Times, and Tribune make a "right wing." It seems like people who care about equality."
I was talking about Illinois Review and other conservative blogs, the right-wing talking radio heads and all the other people in the actual right-wing who were indeed going on and on about it.
And then they all seemed surprised when someone like me actually stood up and said they were all being partisan hypocrites.
Oh well, you can't really discuss reality with people like these right-wingers who are so far removed from it, can you?
And Amy, G.O.P. was referring to Cheryl Axley not caring about the whole issue which, from what I know of her, it doesn't seem like she cares about much of anything. She's a bit of a no-show locally. Radagno wasn't the only woman speaking up about this, there were several Democrats also.
Did I use the term "rabid right winger" in my last post? No.
Why did you feel the need to embellish my words for me?
And I didn't read ArchPundit's replies as a 'shooting down' in the least; a disagreement, sure, but not a shoot-down. But maybe you're grasping at straws.
Watch it Greg, or I'll have to bring up your predictions about Keyes again (actually I go back to read them quite often because they make me giggle).
NWBurbs and I disagreed, but I didn't shoot him down--at least I don't think. There's a whole number of ways that partisans take advantage of these situations. I'd get into it, but frankly Hendon apologized and Axely's cool so I'll move on.
But I like you both--so can we just get along or at least find something more fun to fight over? I'm sure if we had beers and avoided politics we'd all have a nice chat.

Good. Now will the right-wing stop going on and on about it? (Doubtful.)
I can't speak for everyone else, but if the apology was good enough for Sen. Axley, then who am I to press on?
I know Cheryl. She doesn't care. It's that black woman that is making an issue of it.

if Hendon hadn't exercised poor judgement, (he SHOWBOATS so much), there would have been no ammo for the partisans...
