To those about to rock...

I've received several requests to post here as an Illinoize blogger in the past few weeks. Many of them have come from people who don't have any experience at all, either publishing their own blog or posting comments at my blog.

My advice to all the hopefuls is start your own blog to get a feel for the requirements. As people here will tell you, it ain't as easy as it looks (just ask the Washington Post). Once you do that, we can give you a once-over.

Also, if you haven't posted in a while, I will be contacting you soon to see if you want to continue here.
