Vallas Hangs Up Illinois PAC Gloves, Etc.

The man who once toyed with challenging Democratic Party Governor Rod Blagojevich’s re-nomination has decided to hang up is Political Action Committee’s gloves.

His campaign committee—Vallas for Illinois—filed its final report at 4:52 Tuesday afternoon. The committee reported $2.67 in non-itemized receipts and paid Dean Vallas $156.22 in partial re-payment of the $7,950 owed.

Vallas went to Philadelphia after losing the 2002 primary to be head of that city's school system.
