Walter Jacobson Demands an Apology of Rush for Dart

Can you imagine the wait? Oprah will give away tickets to Color Purple: The Musical before this happens. Last Night, Friday December 2, Walter Jacobson's Perspective was devoted to Congressman Rush's Monday Morning Quarterquacking over the Cook County Democratic endorsement of Thomas Dart for Cook County Sheriff.

Bobby Rush who had his political whiskers ruffled by Thomas Dart on several occasions opined that Dart was less worthy of the less-than-light-force 'activist politician's' respect than a Klansman who wears his hood 'on' his head. It seems to Rush that Dart wears his hood 'in' his head.

Bobby Rush can be remembered for his thoughtful campaign against Boss Daley II, when, as the Congressman Homeowner fulminated against the Machine's lack of City services in the Black community, his raspy rhetoric was drowned by the sound of Salt Trucks and Snow plows clearing the streets immediately behind the progressive minister/Congressman/frequent flyer.

Fox 32's Walter Jacobson demanded an apology from Rush, four days after the fact, not only for Mr. Dart but 'all of us.'

Walter, I can wait until hell freezes over and old Lucifer is selling bottles of cranberry Dasani to all the skaters, because we will 'all of us' need to wait. Bobby Rush ain't real quick on the draw.
