Todd projected to Win
With 78% of the precincts reporting, Illinois Shadow is projecting Todd the Stoller the winner in the race for Cook County Board President.
“Crying Tony needs to swallow the hard truth. He lost…Jr. won,” declared Burt Nobles, supervisor of the Cook County election board.
Upon hearing the sad news, six Peraica 1099 contract workers, and one small child, marched to the Chicago Tribune demanding to “let us in” .
“How can we not get elected? Obviously, the Tribune failed us,” said five-year-old Dan Proft. “The Tribune Company had the ability to rename the paper the Chicago Peraica, and they did nothing.”
A stunned Bruce Dolt muttered something about falling circulation and then mentioned his multi-colored socks that he wears on election night.
Stunned and confused, Proft told reporters that they would continue to march, and eventually, blame every Chicago institution for Crying Tony’s loss.
“Don’t think the Art Institute is blameless,” said Proft. “Yeah, like they have real art inside. It is a front for the machine, and we know it.”

Art? You Want Art?
Damn That Jim Dine! He's In The ComBine!
Proft did the best he could with a lousy candidate.
The problem is the Cook County GOP. It is not with Proft.
I give credit where it is due. Proft is good at what he does.
He does need to hire a spokesman though. He always seems borderline insane when interviewed.
Funny post
It is a pretty disrespectful post.
Dan Proft did a bad job but Peraica was a good candidate.
The voting process is flawed at best, the taxpayers are the real losers because of the mess of County government.
You cameralist fruitcakes like Hickey should go to the Juvenile Detention Center and ask them if they've "had enough". You know about their having to wash their underwear in the toilets on account of your organization's compasionate leadership? Well what would you and all of your emergency election saving honchos done if you were forced to live at the detention center....given that Peraica..just one man..made you, and all of yours, have to change your shorts 6 times a day for a month? Unfortunate kids and poor people who can't get basic services because of the pigs at the trough ain't funny and neither are you.
For Illinois Shadow the following...
Nice post but I have a Re-Title suggestion-- s/b:
"Todd Projected To Win and County Guranteed To Lose"

LMAO
Laughing my ass off! Go shadow.
Iggy,
Boy , you eat one fruitcake and get tagged for life . . .
BTW - some Tony's lads almost took a trip to Juvey from what I saw.
In Juvi kids are raped, political hacks are in charged, kids have died, there is massive financial fraud.
Jonny Lira, an ex pro-boxing champ, the ONLY person arrested was with the MAZE JACKSON for alderman campaign NOT Tony Peraica.
Maybe if Hickey's 19th ward boys were there they would of accidently started shooting at Stroger voters like Lonigan and crew.

Yeah, you are all about the poor kids.
Tony taking you guys with him into a new line of work?
The camera don't blink, Kids. Some show you put on.
Pat,
You should get your facts straight:
1. The Stroger people came in mass and busted into the County Clerk's office FIRST. It was a crazy scene an hour before Peraica got there.
2. Mike Noonan, the campaign manager for Stroger, and all sorts of other people were there watching the votes being counted with no counterweight.
3. Peraica only came AFTER the Stroger people and AFTER Orr said they would start driving in over 50% of the suburban vote.
4. There was no chain of custody for the vote.
5. There was no security for the vote.
6. They would not let Peraica up for over a half hour even though other elected officials, campaign managers and represenatitives of the Stroger campaign were already there.
7. The CPD Police pushed one girl in the chese (on videotape) and manhandled Tony Peraica's college age daughter.
8. Orr lied on several occassions, including that Sherrifs (maybe 19th ward captains) were securing the votes. The data cartridges and actual ballots were coming in personal cars and carried in by temporary workers, mostly African American, with NO security. He said the votes were counted at the remote locations but there were many incidents were they could not count the votes and at least one public incident in Berwyn were hundreds of votes were not counted.
Please look into facts before you speak (or actually write) even if you can be witty and clever.
Now, that gives me pause -
- stop;
- rewind;
-Play!
Nope, Tony's meltdown was complete.
Pat, you were not there. I was there.
The actions of Mike Noonan, and the Elmer Gantry Reverends and the union people was thuggish.
There was no ballot security at all--kind of scary in a democracy.
As has been said, Stroger's people were there while Peraica was restrained from entry by security, and the votes were being brought in by CIVILIAN personnel.
That doesn't excuse Peraica's "Million Drunk March", but it's obvious that procedures weren't followed, and that the Stroger campaign was given preferential treatment.
