Perhaps she is on to something here...
"It is an obvious example that the governor is a pathological liar," Rep. Susana Mendoza (D-Chicago) said, adding she usually earns about half of her published salary of $73,000 as a projects coordinator for the city Planning Department because she spends so much time at the Capitol. "If he honestly believes, in his lunacy, that 10 people from the City of Chicago controlled the fate of that doomed capital bill, he needs medical attention."
Yeah, this situation is going to resolved....

The Governor is a pathological liar, and will probably go to jail or at least get indicted,
However, the double dipper politicians are a bad idea, let them get private sector jobs, they still have 2 pensions (from the taxpayers) even if they do not get paid while in Springfield.
Eddie Acevedo is a unique joke although Mendoza and Davis are good legislators and nice people.

What ever you think about the two jobs you are partly wrong on the two jobs. They cannot get time for both pentions if they are going to combine them into one, which most legislators do. If they want to take the service time in separate pensions then they can grow. Most legislators want to combine them as you need 20 years.
