SCAM: My first impression of Huffington Post Chicago
In an effort to establish local cred, HuffPoChi had John Cusack, a Chicago expatriate, composed a harmlessly vanilla ode to our Windy City.
Unfortunately, in that short piece, Mr. Cusack misspelled the name of former Cub, Larry Biittner. And he misspelled the name of former Blackhawk, Chris Chelios.
And the HuffPoChi's inaugural post repeatedly misspelled the name of a former member of the Chicago Bulls -- a fella named Michael Jordan.
Michael Freakin' Jordan!
Chicagoans' notorious homerism will no doubt lead them to forgive Mr. Cusack's transgressions, but our utter contempt for phonies could limit the long-term appeal of Huffington Post Chicago.

Chicagoans rarely have ANY contempt for phonies, what are you talking about? Daley, Stroger, Hendon, Rush, Lipinsky, the entire Chicago Democrat Corruption Machine. HuffPo should fit in just fine with all the phonies in Chicago pretending they care about anything other than getting their hands on government largesse.
And the misspellings were on purpose so those educated in Chicago public schools could understand what was being written since that is how they were taught to spell.
Huffington Post Chicago will fit in perfectly being a shill for all the phonies ruining and running things.
I take it Jim Belushie was busy.
