I'm with...

Topinkojevich? The Shadow is a tad pissed’jeviched!

Not because insulting a woman with a silly moniker was a stupid thing to do--because it was--but because it falls shy of really clever.

First, it should be Topinka’vich. The Topink-o-je-vich is just clumsy, like Dick Van Dyke stumbling over the ottoman, except people tend to feel sympathy because when you say it, you sound like Corky from Life Goes On.

Second, the Shadow is sad that someone as respected, kind and truly intelligent as Senator Rauschenberger would tolerate such witlessness.

In the olden days, there was a law—never written, but always whispered.

Rule 3.78(b): Thou shall let another candidate have their announcement day.

This law was based upon courtesy, respect and recognition that we are all Americans.

OK, Ok. That was a little over the top, but the sentiment was sincere.

At the Stove Stoker’s announcement, some little ferret-berger crashed the party and was touting this Topinka-o-je-vich drivel, part of the same rodent order who trailed Obama with a video camera.

Truly classless'vich.

Since Rauschenberger has a penchant for naughty t-shirts, the Shadow is sending your team new shirts (with new campaign logos!)

Here they are. But remember to wear them as a group.

Did you expect anything better from his classless group of advisers?

Very funny piece.

What about Iron Balls Topinka?

She looks very orange--hair and face tone--sort of like Hugh Hill in drag. How 'bout Orange Judyus as a nickname.

I am sure Proft would call it "consulting" all his watching someone go into a bathroom with a tape recorder and cute nicknames ... for a guy who wants to be so good, why is he so awful

Maybe Rauschenberger is now the first to go negative, but it was an effective way to link JBT with the combine.

No, it was an effective way to look mean and short sighted. Now he says that he won't sign a pledge to run a clean campaign. SDR (single digit rauschenberger) needs to clean up his act fast, otherwise Brady may out poll him.

Hey Shadow: He/she/TV

We are Americans and freedon of speech never has a day off. If you don't like it move to ........take your pick other country.

Isn't freedom of speech fun.

I recall it was team Rauschenberger that wanted to chill free speech by boycotting what they deem were Ebola inducing t-shirts. Thank God they saved us.

So yes, free speech is fun, but so is being a gentleman.

BTW, I am neither she nor he, and yes, I like TV.

Judy said it was "desperate". Now Judy she said it was "mean".

How about telling me why its not true?

Because she can't.

I think Kjtopinka is a better nickname.

Dan Profit is the problem here and Rauschy is just giving him the freedom to spout his vitriol against Republicans. Rauschenberger is just another in a long line of candidates who don't stand up their "consultants" and tell them to cut the crap. If Rauschy would have dumped Profit and employed some real campaign people, if he concentrated on the budget, economy, and Blago's blunders, instead of trashing Judy, Oberweis and the others, then he would be the frontrunner right now. Instead, he is mired in single digits and paying someone who is getting him nowhere. His clothes are clean though, because Profit is taking him to the cleaners.

The funny thing is that Profit and his ilk are the first to criticize other Republicans, yet Profit and his IL Leader friends cry "Reagan's 11th Commandment" if they are criticized by those Republicans who want to be the majority party, not just naysaying idealogues. If you notice Raushcy's news releases, he does not speak...it is always Profit doing the speaking. What an ego!

Profit=nasty campaigns=big problems=IL staying a blue state.

You would think that Judy's gang, subsidized by their gigs on the state payroll, might be able to come up with better than this.

Read Greg Hinz this week and then tellme if Rauschy is wrong in saying Judy is more of the same.

I have to agree that Steve is off message. I can't believe he rejected the clean campaign pledge.

When Judy implodes, there is no guarantee that voters will turn to Steve, especially if he continues to act like an SOB.
Brady might be that fresh, new face that people turn to.
