Jonah Goldberg in Chicago Wednesday
I cannot make it, but National Review writer Jonah Goldberg, who is the author of the best-selling book Liberal Fascism: The Secret History of the American Left, From Mussolini to the Politics of Meaning, will be in Chicago on Wednesday.
The event will be held at the Hunt Club, located at 1100 North State Street in Chicago. If you want to attend, please RSVP to kathleen@americasfuture.org. Copies of Liberal Fascism will be available for purchase and Jonah will be signing books. Jonah will begin his book talk at 7:00 p.m, cocktails begin at 6:00pm.
I'm reading the book now, it'll change the way you think about politics--I guarantee it.
Thank America's Future Foundation for bringing Goldberg to Chicago.
H/T to Jake at the Freedom Folks for the information.

Why should I care about that stupid scmuck coming to town. It's too bad that there won't be tar and feathers waiting for this right-wing apologist. One would think a professed conservative like him would appreciate such an old American custom being brought back in his honor.
So, how did you like his book?
If you don't want to get bored, you can see a right-of-center guy who's interesting next Wednesday when John Stossel speaks at the University of Chicago.
What a shame that on the day a true man of honor and class, William F Buckley passes away, we have to deal with this disgrace coming to our city representing his magazine.
Look out John, I see a l-i-b-e-r-a-l. Run for your life! Save yourself!
I have to agree with the above post about William F. Buckley. Here was a conservative interested in dialogue, not deception and distortion.
Is he bringing his mother Lucianne Goldberg and Linda Tripp?
Goldberg served as a vice president of his mother's now-defunct literary agency.
