Gov. Tom Cross
If people can run for president two years ahead of time, why not for Illinois governor three years before the election?
Look at this tid-bit in Sneed’s Friday Sun-Time column, obviously placed by a source friendly to Illinois House Minority Leader Tom Cross.
You can regale others with his liberal voting record in the comment section.
My soul is so aflutter I can’t.
Of course there is more on McHenry County Blog this weekend.

I think Tom Cross would be a great candidate for Governor...better then anyone else expected to run.
I concur. What's the beef with Tom Cross?
I'd trade Rod for Tom Cross any day...
PS.. I'd like Giuliani as Prez too...
at least Cross would have a chance to win.. Unlike any of the other rumored candidates
What is wrong with Allen Keyes?
Which Party?
I ask because the guy votes like a Democrat most of the time, for example voting FOR Blago's 300 tax and fee increases in 2003, and voting with the Dems to double the state's debt (the $10 Billion pension bond deal in 2003).
Cross only has an 'R' by his name because he lives in a Republican drawn district and was a high school student of another do-nothing, his mentor, Denny Hastert.
