Chicago Database, Updated

ICPR and the Sunshine Project have updated the Chicago Sunshine Database for next Tuesday's runoff elections. Now, data for the 24 candidates on next week's ballot is updated with receipts since the February 27th contests. Want to see who's giving to whom, and where your candidates are getting most of their money? Go here and find out.

David,
While I appreciate your efforts, it looks like your database is still out of date.
It provides a search for the 2005-2006 cycle, with no additional info.
The following remains far more useful:

By the way, one of the unreported stories on the April elections:

The absolutely massive cash flow from unions to Joe Moore.

The challengers took a lot of heat for taking those contributions. For some reason, nobody has said much about Moore doing the same thing.

Skeeter-
I'm sorry if the labeling is off. Mostly, we post data by two-year election cycle. We're posting special updates for the chicago elections, and the contributions (standardized and coded) are there for everybody, including Joe Moore and his union money. The state database is still current as of 12/31/06.

The SBE site is fantastic, but I hear time and again that many people find it confusing. Our site is intended to be more user friendly, and that's why we do it.
