Let's ask Lt Guv Quinn about the tax increase

Even someone cuckoo can ask the right question. Turns out he was asked not so long ago,

Lt. Gov. Pat Quinn won't say if he will or won't support raising the state income tax to deal with a $2 billion budget hole if he becomes Illinois' governor.

Quinn says he'd need to conduct a thorough review of everything if he was in charge.
So what has Lt Guv Quinn been doing on the tax payer's dime for all these years that he can't say?

Who's to day there's no truth here:
They want to get me out fast so they could put a huge income-tax increase on the people of Illinois… And they want to raise the sales tax on gas. . . . If I’m out of the way, they can quietly push this through.
Sing a pledge Pat Quinn. If my delinquent analysis compels a tax increase of any sorts, I will not run for reelection.

What a cuckoo post! Quinn is not the Governor yet. The Blagojevich administration does not share information with him or his staff. And we really don't know how bad the state's financial picture is. You think the Governor has been open with state officials and the public?

Get real.

Of course there is going to be a tax increase. It is being set up perfectly. Rod has screwed the whole state up so this will be an "emergency temporary" measure blamed on Rod. And as anonymous said who knows what the real financial picture is in the state? I mean it is not like we have a treasurer or comptroller or anything.

How can one be involved in an executive position in Illinois and not have thoughts one way or the other on a tax increase. What rock has Quinn been hiding under? And it's not like he's pressed with other duties at LT Guv much other than thinking...

More coming from me on this one believe me....

Yeah, really, they're complicit in the cover up... what we're really don't have pension and medicaid liabilities?
