Removed, but not forgotten
Former Rep. Larry McKeon didn't get around to posting much on his blog, or cross-posting here. He told me he was warned by the Blagojevich administration that blogging would be detrimental to seeing his bills become laws. That stern warning kept him from posting all that much while he was in office, and continued while he was lobbying. I left his name up anyway in case he changed his mind.
Anyway I couldn't just remove his site from the blogroll without saying something about him. I miss him all the time. Man, this is much harder than I thought it would be. Goodbye, Larry.

It seems just like the administration to threaten a legislator who dared to criticize him.
May Mr. McKeon rest in peace.

Well, why not leave a permanent posting? Some speech he gave on the floor, a list of bills he passed?
Sort of an online memorial?
