Bludorn Over Mathias in Wheeling; Oberweis Wins
The Wheeling Township Republican organization held its endorsement session Saturday morning and Scott Bludorn and Jim Oberweis came off as the big winners.
Sixty percent of the precinct captains had to vote in order for an endorsement to occur. Bludorn got a 66% vote.

Oberweis wins another cook county township race? I thought JBT was going to win big in Cook? How can this be? New Trier had to change the rules from 60% down to 55% to give Judy a victory in that township. OBY was right behind her there. If I count correctly its 5 to 3 Oby in cook so far!!! Where is this campaign machine that Judy is supposed to have? Shes starting to look over her shoulder, the milkmans coming.
Oberweis has 5, Judy 1, and 2 no-endorsements b/c neither got the 60%. Oh, any by the way, Brady and Gidwitz have ZERO!
Milkman = Alan Keyes
Milkman = House and Senate mix stays about where it is.
Topinka = Loss of 3+ Republican seats / chamber
No wonder so many of our liberal brethren here are pulling for her.
