He has lied to everyone in the state.I voted for him and donated money.I just hope they call me this time boy-o-boy have I got some things to get out my chest.Oh as soon as I can get one a JBT sign is going up in my yard.
In a town hall style meeting in White Hall Illinois, Rod Blagojevich told me that if he were elected Governor, he'd reopen the Greene County Boot camp and I'd be able to return. He also promised to reopen the Sheridan Correctional Center; he did.
I'm back, and he gets my vote. Several, several others feel the same way I do.
Don't ask the folks in Grayville about GRod when it comes to opening facilities. I'm a state employee, democrat, contributor to GRod the first time around but he HAS lied to all of us on the pension deal and for that reason I'll vote for anybody else on the ticket. He and his cohorts are squandering millions of our dollars on questionable projects and stealing from our pension fund. Anybody who does not see what is coming from the feds has their blinders on and their eyes shut. This is a political disaster waiting to happen.
Like I said, the Governor promised that he would reopen the Greene County Work Camp. He did and I have my position back. Governor Blagojevich kept his promise to me; he will keep receiving my support.
Call and talk to the AFSCME officials at the facility, you'll get the same answer.
If it's JBT, or any of the other people that have been part of the Springpatch clique for the past decades... What will change?
Except for Oberweis, they ALL have been part of the PROBLEM not part of the SOLUTION.
The "Bi-partisan Combine" owns, controls or greatly influences all of them but Oberweis. When all the horses in the race are out of your stable, it doesn't matter much which one wins.
I'm not arguing the point of Grayville being needed, I'm saying GRod said during the campaign he would open it and he did not, thus he lied. I'm glad you got your job back and if you talk to AFSME rank and file in the south you will find about 99% opposed to GRod. You surely must be in upper management to think this guy has even come close to running corrections in a professional and efficient manner. Get you head out of the sand!
Is it true that by the time the contractors were paid what they were owed it actually cost more to close Grayville than to open it? I am told the state had to pay the contractors the full amount of their contract because it was a contract that the state could not get out of. AFSME officials, does that include the rank and file?

He kept his word!
I forgot to mention, Greene County is one of the facilities that Judy's pal George closed.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember her speaking out about the closings.
Would closing a state facility be considered balancing the budget on the backs of state employees?

ReplyDeleteThe prison in Grayville wasn't needed. Talk about squandering millions of our dollars.
ReplyDeleteNo, Judy Barr-Topinka is a political disaster waiting to happen.
Does Judy have anything coming from the feds?

Grayville isn't a concern of mine.
All depends on who the GOP picks to oppose him.

If you've had enough, VOTE for OBERWEIS!
"The Milkman is coming!"
if anybody has anything coming from the feds, it's Rod.
ReplyDelete3:18, well put, lots of substance.

ReplyDeleteBlagojevich lied to everyone, so don't feel bad.
ReplyDeleteLynn Martin was going to lead us to a smashing victory too.
ReplyDeleteJBT will be a bigger flop than she was.
Blagojevich is a pathological liar. He is a sociopath.
