Kudos for John Patterson!

Rod Blagojevich threw cold water on the notion that he is a sociopath today, by lashing out like a deranged lunatic at reporters. Blagojevich's berserker fit was peppered with the words "dishonest" and "stupid" in reference to reporters. Reporters should be focused on high gas prices instead, Blagojevich said.

Blagojevich's gas pains

Blagojevich said reporters should report on things people care about, like sky high gas prices, now over $4 a gallon, if not well over.

Here goes.

In the summer of 2001, Rod Blagojevich appeared at an Amoco station at Clark and LaSalle to launch his campaign for governor by complaining about gas selling for $1.99 and charge that the Republicans who'd run the state hadn't done enough. He said a Blagojevich administration would do better.

I hope reporters will throw that in Rod's face every time he tries to hide behind the gas issue. Facts are stubborn things.
