RezkoWatch Blog

Surprized it didn't happen sooner. A blog devoted to Rezko. There is a blog roll with other Rezko watchers.

Update: Raw Story on the scrubbing of the site with the Rezko-Blagojevich pictures.

After rumors began circulating that Auchi may have met with Obama, information was deleted from two websites connected to Auchi's company about a spring 2004 visit to the United States that occurred as Obama was campaigning to be Illinois' junior senator.
And then this at the bottom,
More recently, according to the FBI, Rezko had contacted "certain Illinois government officials" to help Auchi get a visa to the United States. Although the senator has stated that he did not work in any way to help Auchi receive a visa, news accounts raised questions of whether Rezko may at one time have introduced Obama to Auchi.

"[W]hen he was running for the Senate, Mr. Obama stopped by to shake hands while Mr. Rezko, an immigrant from Syria, was entertaining Middle Eastern bankers considering an investment in one of his projects," the New York Times reported in June 2007.

But Obama's campaign says that the senator never met with Auchi.

"He has no recollection of ever meeting him," wrote campaign spokesman Bill Burton in an e-mail to RAW STORY.
I wonder if this will lead to bans on digital cameras at political fundraisers?

You're turning into a one trick pony Bill.

Ha, I'd like to see them try to ban cameraphones at fundraisers.

I'm thinking about starting a Bill Baar Blog, and I'm surprised no one has done it yet.

Oh right, it would be a complete waste of time. Not unlike Bill's obsession with Rezko, fondness for sinister-sounding Middle Eastern names, a penchant for seeing conspiracies, and a general lack of coherent arguments.

Bill, please let us know your points when you post so we can respond to something more than a verbal rorschach test.

47th,

Edward McClelland over at Salon, says it best today,

Rezko, after all, built part of his fortune by exploiting the black community that Obama had served in the state Senate, and by milking government programs meant to benefit black-owned businesses. But Obama took Rezko's money even after the businessman was sued by the city of Chicago for failing to heat his low-income apartments, and even after Rezko was caught using a black business partner to obtain a minority set-aside for a fast-food franchise at O'Hare Airport.

Now Rezko is wearing an orange jumpsuit. And Obama may spend the rest of the presidential campaign wearing the jacket for his friendship with the fixer.

I saw that a few days ago, the new site. They won't tell the whole story, as this is clearly a pro-Hillary blog--look at the links.

They won't tell the whole story because of Rezko's much deeper ties to a certain Democratic governor.

Illinoize is on the blogroll, but where is Reverse Spin?

47th Ward...As usual, you've stepped over the line.

I've posted a lot about Wilmette's most famous son.

He's great for traffic.

Are you going to, 47th Ward, post the same drivel on Rezkogate, or on NoQuarterUSA? http://noquarterusa.net/blog/

Or "Hillary is 44?"

No John, I probably won't bother checking out those sites. Seems to me the sites you listed are worth as much of my time as your site, and have similar levels of credibility.

Bill Baar is a prodigious poster on Illinoize, yet I'm often left wondering what the heck he is talking about. It's all links, and no insight. To his credit, he enables people like me to respond to his posts here. Unlike you, and one or two other courageous bloggers.

I tend to comment on posts on Illinoize because I like to read interesting topics and engage in an intelligent conversation about politics in our fine state. (Btw, I like the Cubs as much as you like the Chicago Marathon, but generally speaking, neither are appropriate topics for this blog).

And I bet you're right, that Rezko is great for traffic. If all you seek to do is generate traffic to your site, then Marathon Pundit makes a bit of sense to me. Thanks for that insight.

PS: What line was crossed by my comment above?

47th Ward...you alluded racism in regards to Baar.

Oh, do you even have a blog?

And the next time there is an ambulance shortage, perhaps you might realize the significance of my post if the suburban ambulance transporting you gets lost.

Love and kisses....

The Auchi connection is even deeper. In 2005 after Auchi's visit to the U.S., Obama's campaign received a loan from a company called Fintrade, out of Panama. On the board of the company is the wife of Mr. Auchi, and it is now believed that Mr. Auchi himself has a role in its operations. If Mr. Auchi never met Mr. Obama, then why would a company he is clearly involved with out of Panama give the Obama campaign a loan? And was this loan ever paid back? Furthermore, Auchi's visa having been refused prior to his visit in 2004, who is exactly responsible for getting his visa reinstated to come to the USA? They should go to prison.
All has been verified by credible news sources: London Times, feb. 1, 2008, Chicago tribune, ABC online, and many more. Rezko Prosectors are already connecting the dots..
Now go see for yourself the real connections of Auchi.... scary stuff.....
