Staff of Seanbone Star Shape up for Somerville

With only five days left before perennial Aldermanic Candidate for the 19th Ward, John Somerville concedes his second defeat for that office, the sharp staff of the Seanbone Star, also known as 19th Ward Agenda www.19thwardagenda.com hit the stairmasters at Cardinal Fitness Center for the sprint to third place. It's a strain mocking a woman's breast cancer, but Sean Lowry has the right stuff!

The Anonymous regulars of the Seanbone Star - Ginger Spanker, Ed on Monday Nights, Concerned Beverly Resident, William Wallace 1,2,or 3 and Longtime Resident stretched the spandex for the shattering finish - One is better than the other and All are Champions. They are Anonymous! They are Challenging! They'll be back for the next election and the next and the next. Warts go away more quickly than these stalwarts!

Thanks Citizens!

Don't forget to Hydrate, Men! Oh, and Vote - John Somerville won't get into single digits without those!

Can I vote for the midget?

A friend of mine's mom has a Sommerville sign in 19 (he moved out) but she still lives there and they think they are doing it for Tom Dart.

Hickey,

Your characterization of Somerville as the "perennial Aldermanic Candidate" is inaccurate given that he has run for alderman on only one other occasion. Pat, you see, this is how democracy works - you let voters decide who should hold public office.

Unfortunately, it's not the Chicago (or Cook County) way. Here in Crook County, democracy has been replaced by an oligarchy where political power rests with the Daley family and their close friends. Unlike Somerville who must present the case for his election to the voters, Rugai was appointed alderman by Daley 16 years ago, just like most of the stooges currently sitting in the city council.

Should we elect Rugai again only to have her retire in a year and thereby allow the oligarchy to pick her replacement a la Todd Stroger, Daniel Lipinski, and numerous other well-connected, unqualified underachievers. Patrick Fitzgerald and Noelle Brennan already have enough on their respective plates.

Vote for change. Vote for Sommerville.

Sincerely,

Southwest Sider

PS. The "Seanbone Star" references are already tiresome. At least be creative in your meager attempts to shill for the Crook County / Chicago oligarchy.

If they are doing it for Tom they are mistaken. Take down the sign.

Anonymous Worries,
"At least be creative in your meager attempts to shill for the Crook County / Chicago oligarchy."

Yes, yes . . . I see . . .???!!! Crook County?! That is a play on words of sorts - taking the homophon Cook/Crook gambit. Brilliant!

It is creative and original thinking folks like yourself that continues to cork-screw Dishonest John's political future - Much thanks, Prunella!

Like our dear perennials, we put Somerville's ambitions in the ground each election cycle and glorioskis! Up they Spring Anew!
The Seanbone Star will shine ever more brightly once Jejune Johnny's tide-water hopes are consigned afresh to dear Mother Earth - Once More. Once More. Once More.

Does sound perennial, No?

Johnny boy is in trouble and lately he has been asking families to PAY to put up his signs on their property. The asking rate is $50 per sign. In the meantime, Sheehan has been siphoning the anti-Gigner votes from Johnny because people are sick and tired of his negativity and whining. Real estate speculators Gibbons and Enright and mortgage brokers like Lowry stand to lose a lot of money if Johnny loses. Watch for a big sell off at bargain basement prices when Johnny loses.
Enright has already bailed. The "camapign" is in shambles.

That would be a crying shame. Hey, The Cryan Shames - Fenwick boys - maybe Bedsheet John the Movie Czar could ut on '60s Concerts.

I somehow knew that you were a man of quality tastes and instincts - Spend the Night With the Mountie!

Pat,

Keep marginalizing your posts with obscure and arcane references. Way to go!

We're all very impressed. Keep up the not-so-good work on behalf of Ginger.

This is America, Cupcake! The Royal "WE" went out with King George - the one from the 18th century.

How's that for an obscure reference, Prunella?

By the way, Zippy, no south sider ever refers to herself/himself as a Southwest Sider - you must work for the Tribune or live in Lake County, Peaches.
